Company History

1991

On March 15, Shanghai Lankong Electrical Equipment Plant (former) was officially established. It obtained the production license for high-voltage switchgear and the production license for advanced low-voltage complete equipment (red certificate) issued by the Ministry of Machinery and the Ministry of Electricity, becoming one of the first domestic professional manufacturers of high and low voltage distribution cabinets to obtain "dual certifications".

1992-1998

A military-industrial technical team led by senior and intermediate engineers was established, and advanced equipment such as the Japanese AMADA CNC punching machine and the Italian Salvagnini sheet metal processing production line were introduced.

In 1997, the independently developed GCD21 low-voltage switchgear won the national unified supervision and spot check certificate of conformity, the quality commendation certificate, and the gold award of the 4th Shanghai Science and Technology Expo.

During this period, the company became one of the first core suppliers of Sinopec and PetroChina, providing supporting services for more than 20 large energy enterprises such as Shanghai Petrochemical and Daqing Oilfield.

In 1999, a strategic cooperation was reached with Siemens AG in Germany, and the technology of SIKUS low-voltage switchgear was introduced and brand authorization was obtained.

In 2001, the shareholding system reform was completed, and it was officially renamed Shanghai Lankong Electrical Equipment Co., Ltd.

In 2004, it was selected into the list of recommended manufacturers for the national urban and rural power grid construction and transformation issued by the National Economic and Trade Commission, providing equipment for national key projects such as the Three Gorges Project and Qingshan Thermal Power Plant.

In 2005, a major technical breakthrough was achieved: a fully stainless steel box-type substation was jointly developed with the German company BOSECKER, and at the same time, the technical authorization for the BLOKSET low-voltage switchgear from Schneider Electric was obtained.
