Wanhua Group's project construction continues to "heat up". Lanjian supports Wanhua Chemical Group's 400,000 tons/year propylene oxide (POCHP) and other projects
Since May 2023, Shanghai lanjian complete sets of electrical device Co.,Ltd has received several electrical equipment orders for substation projects from Wanhua Chemical Group Co., Ltd., such as the substation for the citral plant of the citral project, the 400,000 tons/year propylene oxide (POCHP) project of Wanhua Chemical, and the substation for the 3061 special amine plant.
As my country's current PO production and manufacturing technology is seriously backward, Wanhua Chemical Group has been conducting research and development of the cumene hydroperoxide method (POCHP) since 2014, and has developed a complete set of POCHP technology with independent intellectual property rights. The 400,000 tons/year propylene oxide (POCHP) project is located in the Wanhua Yantai Industrial Park in the Yantai Chemical Industry Park of the Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone.
After the project is completed, Wanhua Chemical Group will have three industrial production technologies: PO/MTBE (methyl tert-butyl ether method), PO/SM (styrene method) and POCHP, breaking the foreign technology blockade and filling the domestic gap, making Wanhua the third company in the world to master this technology, greatly enhancing Wanhua's competitiveness in the PO industry; at the same time, it will also enable this technology to develop synchronously with foreign technology and reach the international advanced level.
